NorthStay is a platform that makes finding and managing PG (paying guest) accommodation simple for everyone. Tenants, whether students, working professionals or anyone relocating to a new city, use it to discover verified PGs. PG owners use it to manage listings, tenants and rent collection, and to receive tenant leads. We are an early-stage startup with 50+ PG owners already onboarded in our pilot.

As a Growth & Social Media Marketing Intern, you will own NorthStay's social media presence. You will manage our pages, create content, run ads and help establish NorthStay as a recognised name among tenants and PG owners.

• Manage NorthStay's social media pages (Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts and others) and maintain a consistent posting schedule.
• Plan a monthly content calendar aligned with company goals.
• Create content: reels, posts, stories, carousels and short videos on PG living, room tours, renting and relocation tips, and NorthStay updates.
• Write captions, hooks and short copy in a consistent brand voice.
• Plan, run and monitor paid ad campaigns (Meta Ads / Google Ads), and optimise them for reach, app installs and leads within budget.
• Engage with the audience: reply to comments and messages, and build an active community.
• Collaborate with creators, influencers, communities and partner organisations to grow brand visibility.
• Track performance (reach, engagement, followers, ad results) and share a weekly report with insights.
• Contribute ideas and campaigns that build NorthStay's overall market presence.

• Strong understanding of Instagram, reels and short-form content trends.
• Content creation and editing skills using Canva, CapCut or similar tools.
• Good writing in English and Hindi (Hinglish for social is a plus).
• Basic knowledge of Meta Ads Manager or willingness to learn quickly.
• Creativity, consistency and an eye for what performs.
• Good to have: A personal page, portfolio, or society/brand handle you have managed or grown.

BBA, BMS, Journalism, Mass Communication, English, Design or Marketing students. Students from any stream, including engineering, with a strong content portfolio are welcome to apply.

As a Business Operations Associate Intern, you will work directly with the founders on running the company and planning its expansion. You will help keep day-to-day operations organised and support the research, planning and execution needed to take NorthStay to new areas and new partners.

• Assist the founders in day-to-day company management and coordination between team members.
• Maintain internal trackers, records and documentation (tasks, partners, expenses, weekly progress).
• Research new cities, localities and markets for NorthStay's expansion, and prepare clear findings and recommendations.
• Conduct market and competitor research and summarise key insights.
• Identify and reach out to potential partners such as companies, colleges, property networks, service providers and local businesses.
• Help prepare reports, presentations, pitch decks and applications for incubators, competitions and investors.
• Support planning and execution of expansion projects and track their progress against goals.
• Draft SOPs and improve internal processes as the team grows.
• Assist in recruitment and coordination of new interns and team members.

• Clear communication in English and Hindi, both written and spoken.
• Good command of Google Sheets / Excel, Docs and Slides.
• Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Research and analytical thinking; able to turn information into clear, actionable points.
• Ownership mindset: you follow up and close tasks without reminders.
• Good to have: Experience in a college society, startup, event management, consulting club or business competition.

BBA, BMS, B.Com, Economics, MBA, or B.Tech/B.E. students with an interest in business, operations or startups. Students from any other stream with relevant experience are welcome to apply.
