Welcome to NorthStay. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the NorthStay mobile applications, our web applications, and host billing portal. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms.
By registering, listing properties, or browsing on NorthStay, you establish a contract with NorthStay and agree to these terms. If you do not agree to all terms, you must discontinue using our services immediately.
To use our services, you must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming legally binding agreements. When registering, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and account activity secure.
NorthStay is an accommodation discovery platform connecting student tenants with verified PG/hostel owners. You agree not to use the platform for:
PG owners agree that all listings must undergo the NorthStay verification audit. We reserve the right to reject or remove listings that fail documentation audits, display inadequate hygiene, or violate local municipal bylaws.
All content, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, brand names, animations, icons, and software, is the exclusive property of NorthStay. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any material without our explicit written consent.
Upgrades to host listing passes are billed in advance. All billing transactions are completed securely via Razorpay in Indian Rupees (INR). Payments cover the period specified in the pass plan description (e.g. 1 Month, 3 Months, 6 Months, 1 Year, or Gold Membership).
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, fail safety audits, receive multiple verified student complaints, or engage in suspicious payment activities, without prior notice and without liability for refund.
NorthStay is a digital discovery and verification platform. While we inspect properties, we do not own, manage, or contract the PGs directly. We are not liable for tenant-landlord disputes, structural damages, safety incidents, or deposit returns. Contract terms, rent receipts, and lease agreements remain the sole responsibility of the respective parties.
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of the use of this platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Delhi, India.
